• What type of procedures do you do at SDSS?  Mostly removal of skin cancers, moles, lumps, cysts and other skin lesions.

• Will I have an anaesthetic for the procedure? Yes, local anaesthetic, which involves an injection at the site to be treated.

​

• Will there be a scar?  As with all skin surgery this is possible, we aim to decrease this risk by a number of methods.

​

• What if I need to reschedule or cancel?  We require at least 24 hours notice by phone if you would like to change your appointment.

​

• Can I drive home afterwards?  This will depend on your type and location of surgery and is always best to organise a driver to help
